on 13th march 2015 , our school went to Educational Tour with 54 students & 6 Teachers.
we arranged private bus for travelling .
we visited the best tourism place named
Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary , Arignar Anna Zoological Park , Mahabalipuram on KANCEEPURAM District.
The Day before , At midnight like 1.30pm all students & teachers are ready to gone.
nearly 4.30 we reached the
MEL MARUVATHUR ADI PARASHAKTHI TEMPLE After 6.30am we leaved from the temple for visit next place.
Second one , we went to "
Vedanthangal birds sanctuary"
There wasn't a good season , so we cant saw number of birds .
but only we saw the huge lake with excitement .

birds sanctuary is one of The smallest and oldest in The country with a unique
history. The local people have been protecting The
sanctuary for centuries now
because They have realized that The bird droppings falling into The tank
increases nitrogen content of The water and when used to irrigate crop
increases The yield greatly and saves The cost of fertilizers. As far back as
1798, The village folk convinced The authorities to give protection to The
birds of The 30 ha. area of The Vedanthangal tank. Around 30000 birds come
every season even though The area is just 30 ha It Then attracts multitudes of
herons, egrets, storks, ibises and spoon bills. If The monsoon is heavy, These
trees can be partially submerged. Despite its compact size, Vedanthangal is
worth a visit, especially between October and January, for The experience of
seeing nesting birds in The thousand within close range.
The Vedanthangal Lake Birds Sanctuary at 122 m above MSL
lies 48 km inland fro the Bay of Bengal In Chengalpet District of Tamil Nadu
after third one , we moved to "VANDALUR "
its best place to see , we are very eager to see this one. that also fullfill our expected things.
